The Kent Arch-top makes an excellent double gate, full of character, epitomised in its arched design and the stylish heels at either end. There is also a double heel where the two gates meet at the high point of the gates.

With a sturdy, mortice and tenon frame and tanalising treatment as standard, these strong and attractive gates make a fitting entrance for any driveway. They can also be used for automated front entrances with a suitable automation kit and a strengthened bottom rail. The gates are manufactured from Swedish redwood to the customer’s specific requirements. The gate can be treated by the customer with Sadolin or similar (unfortunately we are not able to offer this treatment ourselves).

These gates are 2.1m (7ft) high and are available in a range of of widths, from 1.8m (6ft) to 3.6m (12ft)

We strongly advise you use 24in Hook and Band or Adjustable Hook and Band hinges with this gate. Using T-hinges adds unnecessary strain to the gate and will shorten its lifespan dramatically.

We recommend the following size posts:
10′ – 12′ gates = 8″ x 8″ post
8′ – 9′ gates = 7″ x 7″ post
6′ – 7′ gates = 6″ x 6″ post
